Never won any prizes in piano performance since middle school, but got into the world-best Eastman School of Music after studying at the Chinese U of Hong Kong. (That's why I tell my students, winning is good and important; but not winning doesn't mean you're bad. But you could be bad, and you have to be a good judge of yourself.)
I'm now in San Diego, quite close to the beach/ Pacific Ocean :) I'm enjoying the luxury of being a student.
I love all kinds of music but reggae (naeh!), and love teaching all kinds of people but the arrogant ones.
